Face Mask FAQs
You do not always need to moisturise after using a face mask and this decision is best led by your skin type as well as the ingredients and directions of use of your preferred face mask.
Moisturising cream masks
For example, our Age Defy+ Hydra-Glow Sleep Mask is a moisturising face mask that features intensely moisturising actives.
These sink in to hydrate and replenish the skin whilst you sleep. Unless your skin is very dry, there is no need to apply moisturising skin care after this product.
Pore-cleansing masks
Our Purifying Face Mask and AHA Radiance Peel Mask are both also best used at night and should be followed with a hydrating night cream.
The AHA Radiance Peel Mask features 5 naturally exfoliating AHAs and in, addition to moisturising following use of this face mask, we advise protecting freshly exfoliated skin by applying an SPF moisturiser for the days following use of this product.

The duration of time that you leave a skin care face mask on for should be led by your skin type, as well as the ingredients and directions of use for your preferred face mask.
Sleep Mask
For example, our Age Defy+ Hydra-Glow Sleep Mask features intensely moisturising actives that sink in to hydrate and replenish the skin whilst you sleep. For best results, apply before bed and leave on until morning.
Purifying Face Mask
Our Purifying Face Mask uses an Activated Charcoal and Bentonite Clay complex to gently draw impurities out of the pores. It tightens as it dries and for this reason, we recommend leaving this mask on for no longer than 20 minutes at a time.
AHA Mask
Our AHA Radiance Peel Mask uses 5 naturally exfoliating AHAs to exfoliate the skin. Most skin types can tolerate this level of intensive exfoliation for around 10-15 minutes, although those with sensitive skin may wish to start at 2-3 minutes.
It is best to cleanse the skin after using a face mask.
For overnight masks, such as Age Defy+ Hydra-Glow Sleep Mask, cleanse in the morning to awaken the skin and release any toxins that have built-up over night.
